Rich materials and classical lines collide in the Athena table, hand-crafted by designer John Wiggers. Wiggers only uses wood that has been certified sustainable by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). The table features a small inlay of holistic Black Walnut – a wood known to release healing properties when touched – and is also inspired by the precepts of Entasis, a method of geometry used in classical Greek architecture to create the illusion of symmetry in columns. Each Wiggers’ piece is signed, dated and numbered.
