Product materials, processes and manufacturers are carefully selected to optimize efficiency and environmental benefit. Factors such as product durability, embodied energy, affordability and ease of recycling are evaluated when developing designs. MIO only works with companies that adhere to socially responsible business practices.
In 2005, MIO received the best collection award at New York International Gift Fair. In 2004, the company’s V2 3D wallpaper was included in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum.
